Terminology

Below are common terms used in New Art City, and what they mean.

Organization Settings

If you have an org manager account, you will have access to the "Org Settings" page. This page lets you manage organization-level settings and view all worlds associated with your org.

World Settings

Worlds are containers for one or more spaces. If you are a world admin you will have access to the world settings page. At this page you can set your worlds's launch date, donation settings, and other options that affect all spaces in your world.

Collaborators

If you are a world admin you will have access to the manage collaborators page, where you can add and remove collaborators to your world, and set which spaces they are allowed to edit. Read more about working with collaborators.

Space Settings / 2D Editor

A space corresponds to a specific unique URL and 3D virtual space in New Art City. At the space settings page you can upload and manage artworks in that space, and set the metadata and look and feel of the space. Read more about spaces here.

Preview (3D Editor)

When you click "Preview Space" it launches the 3D editor. This is the primary interface where you will lay out your uploaded artworks. Click on artworks to move and position them, and right click to change your positioning tool.

Publish

When you click "Publish Space" it launches your most recent changes to the public URL shown near the top of the Space Settings page. You can publish as often as you like.
