Set an Opening Date

When you set an Opening Date for your world the following happens:

Future Opening Date

If the launch date is in the future, a “Coming Soon” page will appear on your public show URL. This page automatically changes to let people into the world on your opening date. This allows you to share the public URL in advance, so visitors know where to go on opening day.

Past Opening Date

As long as your world is published, an opening date in the past allows visitors to enter the world.

Calendar of Events

An opening date allows your world to be included in the (upcoming) calendar of events on New Art City.

An opening date also helps the New Art City team keep track of what’s launching when! Please use it!
